The year 2050
New Zealand,Owairaka
I looked out the window,it looked so different from the old Owairaka. Our class room 18 looked like a military base! The field looked like a arena,the senior playground looked like a futuristic enclosure. Most of the trees are cut down in the field.I saw my little brother playing soccer, i was so confused like when did my little brother play soccer? The junior playground slides looked like a giant elephant trunk.The chickens got switched to alligators. Then i stopped and

I woke up from my bed cause i was woke up by
some random screaming and banging.I thought this
was just a nightmare.No one was in their rooms, i headed to
the screaming...

I was scared, i finally went to the door where
the screaming was . I was not sure if this was
safe to open, i listened carefully. I started to think
that it was my little brother i started to get
confused. I opened the door

just my little brother watching exciting and creepy
stuff on the ipad.

the day it all went wrong
Me and my mum were walking around countdown finding something to buy it was very hot outside as if we were in an oven. I saw a pack of chips, and i said “Mum can i get this” she said yes so i went to get it. When i was going to get it it just fell down. I grabbed it and put it on our trolley . After when we got out we went to our car,our car was burning hot, so when we went in we opened all the windows. When we were near home i saw a red flare i was thinking that there would be a fire at our home. When we got home i smelled smoke .When we went to the kitchen the kitchen was on fire! I quickly got to my garden and grabbed a bucket filled with water and ran back to my house .I flushed the water on the fire. My mum called 111,soon the fire almost covered the living room we quickly ran out and waited for the fire engine. The fire was up to the bathroom by now and luckily that was when a fire engine just came in and shot a burst of water. An hour later the fire was all gone our house was burnt to ashes. Luckily we were still alive.
